We help relieve the stress and anxiety caused to young people who experience significant change like family separation or bereavement by providing a 'listening ear'.
Why the community needs usReduced stress and anxiety in young people means that they don't get angry so easily and understand their feelings much better. They can concentrate at school, feel more relaxed and have better mental health.
Our impact on the communityIn the academic year to July 2014 we had supported over 220 children and young people affected by parental separation and bereavement but with more staff we could have helped many more. We finished the year with 15 children on our waiting list.
