Communities in the area, and their needs

The Scottish Community Foundation awards grants to charities and community groups all over Scotland. We fund projects which tackle a variety of issues, including:

  • rural isolation
  • urban deprivation
  • unemployment
  • environmental issues

We're also keen to support projects aiming to:

  • improve the health and wellbeing of local residents
  • provide training and education opportunities.

Scottish Community Foundation

The Scottish Community Foundation is an expert in charitable giving. As Scotland's busiest grant-maker, we annually distribute approximately £4M on behalf of our clients to exceptional charities and projects across the country. Our in-depth knowledge of the charitable sector ensures our clients' giving makes the greatest and most positive local impact.

We specialise in awarding grants to smaller, lesser known charities and community groups. We believe that these groups offer the support, services and activities that can really make a difference to people's lives.
