If you want to donate money to support refugees and to ensure this is spent within Plymouth, please use this page. The funds raised will be administered by Plymouth and Devon Race Equality Council and allocated within Plymouth via agencies that are working with refugees and asylum seekers.
Why the community needs usThe Council has had a number of offers of support from local people in terms of housing, goods and funding. We are currently working with local charities to ensure offers of help are matched up with the right organisation. Our impact on the communityAdvice line - An advice line is being set up on behalf of local charities which can be contacted on 01752 831608. The phone line is open 1-4 daily.
There are many new volunteering roles that will emerge out of the current situation and lots of practical help needed, such as sorting through donated goods.
