We aim to improve the lives of young people and their families through the use of recreational and educational activities and workshops. We are striving to create a safe, secure indoor urban sport centre for BMX, Skateboarding, Skating, roller skating, scootering and urban action sports that is sustainable. We provide a safe place for YP to have fun, grow their self esteem, confidence, skills enabling them to make a positive social contribution to their community.
Why the community needs usWe attract participation from the surrounding towns and villages but focus on the Bedfordshire area to ensure we provide relevant recreational roller sport activities and educational workshops and training. We do sports and educational training sessions in social enterprise, carpentry and cycle mechanics and hope to continue expand and develop our offer to the local community.
Our impact on the communityWe have delivered over 1,500 hours of training for children and young people, producing 15 qualified roller sport instructors and junior instructors. Our efforts have seen us develop the first roller sport strategy in the region and with an active membership of over 1000 we now deliver across the week and weekend with a view to now establishing our own facility.
