Why the community needs usLook Essex represents children and young people who are visually impaired, providing voluntary services and support, to enable social inclusion; access to education and other services. This is achieved through advocacy and projects that provide opportunities for personal development, designed to assist young people to achieve their full potential.
Our impact on the communityLook Essex has assisted numerous young people over the years, enabling their social inclusion. Many who were initially involved as clients have become Volunteers and Trustees, participating in and managing structured projects, or have successfully moved into further and higher education and the workplace. Our research and documentary evidence substantiate the organisation's influence and confirms our ethos.
