About

To celebrate my 21st birthday of having diabetes, I am running the Edinburgh marathon on 31st May 2015. This will possibly be the biggest personal challenge of my life; for those of my friends who have had the joy of exercising with me, whether it's rowing, climbing or running, you'll know how determined I am to prove people wrong when it comes to Diabetes! As part of my training I completed my first half marathon in Birmingham on 19th October 2014 in 2 hours 18 mins and raised £70 for Diabetes UK. A few weeks ago I beat this time when I ran another, just for fun! I'm currently training hard to make sure my body is fit enough to keep going for 26.2miles! I am fundraising for an amazing charity who support wheelchair users to take part in carriage driving. Please visit their page to find out more & watch their inspirational video; https://vimeo.com/26173301 http://www.sportsdrivingunlimited.org.uk/index.html Thank you for sponsoring me and making all my training worthwhile!
