Purpose

Destiny Support acknowledges that vulnerable people need the holistic support necessary to lead their lives independently. Main beneficaries are 'hard to reach' young people, parents, immigrant people and the elderly.

Why our community needs our service

Destiny Support has researched and developed a floating support service to the under-represented and ‘hard to reach’ client groups. We have enabled vulnerable people to state what their specific needs are through voluntary work carried out.

Results and outcomes

Over 60 clients have benefited from our service so far. Outcomes range from help with finding accommodation, claiming benefits, finding voluntary work, 1:1 basic courses, activities such as ' fit for life' for the elderly to reduce social exclusion.
